We live at a great turning point in history. As we now have gone into a new century and new millennium, empires are falling, economies are faltering and ideologies are failing. But suddenly at the same time, new religious, political and economic freedoms are appearing.

The resulting changes have brought despair and unrest to millions of men and women throughout the world. With these, however, come new opportunities for personal growth and fulfillment, and better ways to meet the three most basic, universal needs.

Spiritual needs. In more nations than ever, people are free to publicly ask searching questions about truth, values, God and eternity. Is there any real basis for hope? Is God there? Can He be known? How does He care? What does He require of me?

People need the truth that can be found only in God's Word, but often Muslims, Hindus, New Agers, cultists and even many "Christians" are offering damning half-truths and actual untruths. Even evangelical missionaries rarely venture beyond the offer of personal salvation.
